Why is Apple’s market cap twice that of Alphabet?

Right now, Apple has a market cap of $2.62T and Alphabet $1.39. What is the logic behind these valuations?

If we look at Apple, they don’t make anything indispensable. Sure, losing my iPhone and Mac would suck pretty badly but there are decent to great alternatives and I’ll be fine.

Google, on the other hand, has services that are literally indispensable. YouTube and Google Search have no alternatives. Losing these services would change people’s lives for the worse.

What do you guys think?

I use Bing instead of Google most of the time. My son decided to quit watching YouTube.

The gap between Apple and Android is vast. Apple really improves the performance of their phones generation after generation, but mainstream Android phones haven't really sped up since 2017.

"Flagship" Android phones have eye popping prices to match or exceed iPhones but how can you say something is a premium product if it has a bunch of shovelware pre-installed, never gets software updates, and forces you to download a sketchy app if you want to scan a QR code?
