Very interesting that there's no mention of the CAP theorem here, despite Amazon's heavy reliance on it in the past when marketing their non-relational stuff.



I'm very curious about this too. I posted in another thread:

"Doesn't that just sweep the latency tradeoff under the rug, or is flash making up the difference? What about the availability tradeoff? The CAP theorem is boiled down to you choosing whether or not you want consistent reads.
