I've heard this anecdotally, but I kinda still don't believe it, as TikTok seems like an entertainment first avenue, not for more substantive learning. However, I could be completely wrong and TikTok video is the future of search. If so, where does that leave a text-only ChatGPT?

I wouldn't be too surprised. It kind of depends on the topic at hand but for instance I've learned a lot about what I know wrenching on my own motors from youtube videos.
