No, I read the article, and appreciate the point, but I don't think Seinfeld is a great example. They quit earlier than they could have, but if the objective was to "leave the audience wanting a little more" then they were already too late. He didn't really give any other reason such as being tired or losing motiviation.

The Bill Watterson example cited by other commenters is better.



As I already mentioned, I do not care about the point you are arguing. I only care about the point I made, which is "assuming Seinfeld DID end early, why did they do that, and what can people learn from it".
