Like I said: it's complicated. How do the different systems handle the competing fields, which take primacy and how do you represent approximate knowledge? "It depends"
Well, I'm not an archivist, I don't need an official taxonomy. I understand that museums, libraries, and such need to adhere to convention for cataloging reasons. For myself, I just don't care beyond my personal needs.
