Interesting idea! I think this would indeed prove if a human published some content. However, I think the most juicy part is proving that the content was produced by a human. I can ask an AI to write a blog post, publish it manually, and still get the seal – correct?
AI generated content can be convincing and utterly wrong at the same time, so a seal of “human content” would definitely make an impact. I think proving human publishing is a nice step towards that.
Creator for humanproved.com here. As we enter the era of getting inundated with AI created content in the internet and wondering how to differentiate AI generated content from human generated content , it came upon me to spin up a captcha protected website that only us i.e humans can access and generate a unique badge(image) for their content. The image is based on the url the user submits and is created by superimposing an unique 16 character string. Also the website allows users to send a query with this unique number to verify that indeed someone has pledged at certain time that content displayed in a particular url is human generated. Due to resource constraint at this time only 5 entries per domain is allowed. However I want to launch a paid plan given enough interest where this limit will be removed or elevated. Thanks for visiting and all comments and feedback are welcome and appreciated.
