What makes it not a good time?

Would you tie it to boom / bust cycles in tech as a whole?

Assuming you meant name not time. I can think of a few...

1) Limited market size 2) Doesn't sound great (w from h dot come) 3) Not easily remembered 4) Not search friendly

Also I think a good domain is one that would sell for more than $1k. I would have a difficult time justifying that price. Hope I'm wrong! Good luck.

I did parse it as /time/ but re reading now I realize the comment I replied to was probably referencing the name of the domain. (This is what I get for making comments when I’ve just woken up).

But! Your reply was great, and answered some questions I didn’t know I was asking. If I had sat down and processed, I would have gotten to them, but the selling domains isn’t something I do regularly. The naming of things I’m involved in is a totally different space.

Unrelated: I struggle with people selling domain names they have no use for at inflated prices. Though, I don’t think several hundred to $1,000 is outrageous.

Agree what’s the heuristic for “value”?
