Use RSS for privacy and efficiency (2021)
The current situation at Twitter has made me want to go back to the good-old-days of RSS, I'm glad to see I'm not alone.
I'm rusty, though. What's the best Mac desktop RSS client these days?

Strongly prefer NetNewsWire, which is free and open source. www.netnewswire.com. Available on Mac and iOS.

Yes, NetNewsWire is great. It works well as a client for Feedbin, too.

For people who willingly live in (or visit) Apple's walled garden, I like News Explorer because it syncs (subscribed feeds and read/unread state of each article) via icloud between iphone, ipad and macOS.
