On android it really is great, and if only they supported iOS - they would be the next WhatsApp or more!


How does its encrypted messaging protocol compare to Signal?

Does it have anything comparable to the Double Ratchet?


Signal is American, they are are forced by the law to let law enforcements spy them [1]

If you are a foreigner and use Signal for your buisness for example, if you compete with an american company, they'll spy you

It happened in the past with Alstom for example:

Signal designs their server infrastructure to be trustless, and their clients to be open source. So the only thing that would leak if the US were wiretapping Signal servers, is metadata.
