On the one hand, I do think this what you're attempting to cultivate is essentially learned helplessness. This is the road to depression and burnout. If you're frustrated all the time with bullshit at work, just ignoring it and pretending not to care _will_ have long term ramifications for your mental health. Trust me, this is a road that leads you to particularly dark places you do not want to visit and that can take a long time to get out of. Beyond that, if you want to care less about work, my advice is to fill your life with things that matters to you outside of work.
