Looks like a nice device if it has some kind of API. However I'm wondering if they can make this at any decent cost.

The cheapest thermal printers, even off eBay cost around $65. Most thermal printers start at $150 and go to around $300.

At ~$50-60 with an API, this would be an instant buy for me. However, I doubt they can hit that price point.
