That's even worse than I thought. So SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps is known not only was "USB 3.1", but also "USB 3.2"? And SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps and 20Gbps are also both known as "USB 3.2"? So when someone says "USB 3.2" what are they referring to?!
You can't tell without that Gen suffix, because it got retroactively renamed so that manufacturers could stick "USB 3.2" label on their old USB 3.0 devices.
