They're also available used and a lot cheaper now.
I'm plenty happy with mine and don't plan to switch any time soon. Yeah, the M2 Air looks a bit nicer, but it's more of a Pro-follow up with its boxy design and ... eh, the M1 Air is totally fine in all aspects I can spontaneously come up with. It's a really good device and the laptop I might recommend for years to come. It getting cheaper and cheaper will only increase the value you'll get.
