Nah, Unix is just an obsolete, janky clone of Linux.

Seriously, "posix is the standard" is not an interesting or useful argument. LSB is also a standard so why should anyone worship the older one?


When it comes to standards, why would newer be better? POSIX isn't perfect, but longevity is a great selling point when selecting a standard. I don't think OS standards have much practical use, but I think you're way off base with new = better.
