On one hand, change is good - there are certainly going to be conversations as social progress is made, and those conversations will not always be nice. Friction is a sign that things are actually moving along and the changes aren't superficial.

On the other hand, it is so satisfying to see these entitled progressives ripping into their own ranks with such viciousness. From the leaked HuffPo transcripts:

If someone spoke in this ridiculous way at work in a public group chat to my boss, they would be instantly reprimanded if not fired. Later on in the chat the editor responds, though, and how gentle and receptive he is!
> Person M [an editor on the masthead]: Hey all, a lot of smart thoughts here and just wanted you to know I am following along. Definitely worth more discussion. (I’m running into a 3 pm meeting but will be checking back later.)
What Person B doesn't realize is that the Editor is on the same team as them. It legitimately feels to me that Person B has never encountered someone who is Not On the Same Team. Otherwise they might have a little more appreciation...
