I would not describe the raspberry pi as plentiful right now, especially if you want the 4gb/8gb variants. Mine was recently destroyed and I can't get a replacement

I mean, it's been two years of limited supply for the rpi and the RISC-V board under discussion is launching now. So if it has decent supply, that would leave it with the advantage over the rpi.
