ROG phones are quite a bit faster than iPhones, not only in gaming but other software tasks as well [0], at least on the Android side

Absolutely false, iPhones (admittedly the more high end ones) stomp every other phone out there by a WIDE margin.

Even the camera, less megapixels but Apple has far better computational photography algos.
