Why I'm unreachable and maybe you should be too (levels.io)

My only means of reliable "inbound contact" is through a one-way, numeric pager. This absolutely aggravates the majority, but I absolutely love not having the constant distraction of a cell phone/email (SPAM, social, APPs, etc).

I will admit to being an extreme introvert, capable of spurts of extroversion... but being out of contact makes most relationships more meaningful (but fewer); it's most interesting to note how deeply embedded so many people are unto their own online persona (via these devices).

I read the other day that 1st base is now hooking up; 2nd base is hanging out together; and 3rd base is taking your partner out to dinner (a critique on modern-day APP-based dating). So strange; so foreign.

Oddly was hoping more people would agree that being hyper connectable to randoms was mind numbing, but think for some any contact is better than no contact.

Instead, only other comment was about who wrote the article, instead of the topic itself.

The first step seems to be to not divulge your name anywhere. I read the link and several other links and still have no idea of who this person is.
