Sorry, I don't want to be rude, but after looking at that page and trying to find more about it, I was immediately reminded of https://shouldiuseacarousel.com/
this software is phenomenal. watched a YouTube video and was struggling to get Traktor to work with my older DJ controller. a few hours after fumbling with Traktor, I found mixxx and got it working almost immediately!
It's damn close. Just need to get some work on bringing in stems like https://github.com/facebookresearch/demucs and Ableton link and it would be a serious contender even up against the likes of serato pro.
I dont have squat experience in this type of programming but have been poking about mixxx for a while and it might be the project that gets me into it. I hate the closed'ness of current DJ app options.
Mixxx is such a legend. It's absolutely competitive with the "Big 3" (Serato, Traktor and RB), although it doesn't have real time stems separation like VDJ or DJay Pro. Neither do the Big 3, either, although I hear rumors (and pray) that Traktor might bring that in someday in their 4.0 release.
Anyway, kudos to Mixxx and the entire dev team. It's a breath of fresh air.
virtualDj was atomixMp3 - and was better back then in one major way; there was a large button for mix-now that would fade one track to the next player on click-demand.
The way virtualDj does this with the auto-play list in a little window is not as appealing. Maybe someone has made a new skin available to make this an option, I haven't delved into it in years now.
Definitely something I'd like to see - when you are doing live events that require cutting songs and instrumentals and such between - it's be much better for ease of use to have 2 or 3 large 'decks' with visible cue points and be able to have autoplay running with a list or switch/fade manually to deck 2 or 3 - and then back.
I was not able to see if such options might be better with the small screenshots on the features page, but I may give a download and try it out a bit.
I would also like to share you.dj as an alternative. If you want to use controllers with it, you.dj isn't free - but it's cheaper and without any subscription, which is a ton better than the Pioneer software.
