Hi HN! Joule is accelerating the clean energy transition of the residential sector by decarbonizing homes alongside a home mortgage. We are building a digital mortgage solution that rolls the cost of packaged sustainable upgrades (think efficiency + electrification + solar + battery) into a home purchase or refinance loan. We offer a seamless upgrade experience to borrowers by leveraging a strong network of partners, integrated software and data. We believe that every mortgage has the power to propel homes toward zero emission and also reduce the cost of homeownership.
We are looking for an experienced full stack engineer to hire as a founding member / key contributor to build an MVP and bring the product to life. You will have the opportunity to build a team and be the architect from the ground up. Our Founder and CEO is a former chemical engineer at the DOE, licensed mortgage loan originator and climate activist.
