This seems to be to say that they've found a way to make a single quanta of magnet that works at room temperature. Without a subscription, I can't tell if the direction of the field is somehow locked to the substrate, as I would expect, or not.

I wonder if this can somehow be used as an equivalent to a Josephson junction. I also wonder if it can have a superposition of states.
