Mine are silicone in ears that block enough noise. Could swap in foam tips for even more. I completely agree and always play with protection.



I think it'd be hard to guess then whether it's sufficient protection. Custom fit IEMs are very snug and provide great isolation. If you're not touring regularly, you are probably fine with less.


But I can have any IEMs custom fit. Is there any advantage to the sound quality?
