I am a huge fan of Om Malik's writing. I have learned a lot of stuff over the years from him. He's gotten a lot of things right. But I think he is being a bit to much of an Apple fanboy here.

I've owned a few Macs over the years, they're a tool. When they get things right they're the Porsche compared to the Chevy as Steve Jobs himself once put it. I didn't see any game changers in these announcements. Anyone agree with Om?
