NATO will 'discuss no-fly zone' over Ukraine – FT (ft.com)

José Manuel Albares, Spain’s foreign minister, said Nato 'will discuss' a possible intervention in Ukraine, including a potential no-fly zone.

The upside is there's no reason to start writing a will - there'll be nothing to bequeathe and nobody to bequeathe to. Thanks for all the fish.

UPDATE: Stoltenberg denies plans to impose an NFZ. With all the activity of top brass along Polish-Ukrainian border, though, some sort of intervention may well be in the works. 's a fine line here, and an easy one to cross - with no way of going back.

Stoltenberg denies there are plans. He doesn't rule out a NFZ. Also, according to a Reuters poll, 74% of Americans supports a NFZ. Time to leave the northern hemisphere.

It's disconcerting how the Western reaction to the invasion is a combination of 1. total overreaction and 2. total refusal to take it seriously.

The present outcome is already a catastrophe as it is. Could the Western leaders please stop this pretense of "we got this" and maybe just become a tiny bit afraid of Russia and what it can do if truly pushed against the wall? I'm getting some serious "Don't look up" vibes here.

I think that NFZ is a good idea. Putin is clearly out of his mind and can use nuclear option even if he loses Ukraine conventionally. But if we do nothing the human loss in Ukraine will be immense. We need to prevent this.

Title for me says: European shares and Wall Street futures drop after fire at Ukraine nuclear plant

I doubt NATO is considering a noflyzone and has declined.
