I liked Steve Wozniak's comment in his interview in "Founders at Work" book, saying that a real hacker/entrepreneur will get things done despite not having advanced tools available to them.



In my day job, I experience this almost daily. I spend a lot of time working on government computers with almost no useful data processing and/or trouble shooting software installed on them. They're basically stock XP machines with MS-Office.

It's amazing what you can accomplish given those kinds of constraints.
