Shockingly blatant ripoff of Notion, down to the hero and icon placement.

People complained enough about Notion performance and now there's an alternative that apparently has exactly the same features, but because it's Microsoft it's bad?

If Teams is any indication, do you really think Loop is going to be much better?

I did not hate using teams. I thought it was a decent competitor to slack and zoom.

We must live in parallel universe

Or Teams really suck on browser/macos?

I don't imagine it's the same team

So, from a 30,000 ft level, Microsoft built a clone of Notion.so?

it seems like it, whats scary is they can package it with office 365.

> Microsoft Loop is a new app that combines a powerful and flexible canvas with portable components that move freely and stay in sync across applications.

Maybe I'm an idiot, but I feel it tells me exactly nothing about what it exactly is.

If you're not the operating system or the network owner software is a really precipitous place to be in the mid-to-long term. Microsoft, Apple, or their developer tools and networks will be constantly attempting to eat your lunch and winning with network effects.

Does this replace Teams, integrates with it, or ignores that it exists?

Disclaimer - I'm unfamiliar with Notion, which it seems this is cloning

Seems to integrate to Teams. At least on the website video it shows you can create a ”Loop thing” in Teams.

Maybe this is using Fluid [1] framework and can be embedded to other apps.
