Apple Mail.app for Mac used to come with beautiful templates for photo filled emails that unfortunately they have removed. Combining those templates with their current "Mail Drop" service that allows arbitrary size emails would be a good way of doing this. So, if anyone from the Apple Mail team is reading this... please bring back the templates!
