Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), hides high rates of women killing their infant babies. Apparently society is not ready to admit that women are capable of doing this. So this is just a convenient disease to hide it under. Watched a documentary on this many years back on CBC.

SIDS is much more likely if the mother is underage or a smoker.
