I've been wanting to ask what oh_sigh asked for a long time but 'reply' option wasn't available for your pinned comment, Do you disable reply for your comment on some posts?

Yes, but only when the comment is pinned to the top. The purpose is to prevent too much offtopicness at the top of a thread.

(Of course the pinned comment is already off topic, but it's hopefully a necessary evil.)
