An unusual but significant factor in the lack of streaming rights for The Mists of Avalon may be the allegations of child sexual abuse against Marion Zimmer Bradley, the author of the source material for that series.



I really dunno, Orange is the new Black continues despite more than allegations against Kevin Spacey.


Are you thinking of another show? The final season of Orange is the New Black aired in 2019, and I don't believe Spacey was involved with the show.

Besides, actors can be replaced, but you can't replace an author who's already written the book -- and the allegations against Bradley are much worse.
