There are answers.

If it really has to be ready on December 3, you can reduce the scope. I reduced the scope dramatically for a product when I learned that deploying the product would immediately save us hugely in operational costs.

Some people in management were mad, but it turned out the new product was so good that we got called by the perfect customer the day we put up a demo!
