CNG is good for very dense urban environments. But that's not quite the use case for most of America.

Also China/Egypt can easily sign an edict requiring CNG infrastructure build-out. Meanwhile in America, we can't even agree if Coronavirus is a hoax or not, let alone pass a decent infrastructure bill.
