Why does Google still use paging instead of progressive loading? (ux.stackexchange.com)

Doesn’t most research in scrolling show that it totally kills user engagement and decision making, but keeps them longer?

Google probably wants its users to actually make a decision and click a link.


Cos progressive loading is literally the worst thing ever.

Have you ever tried clicking a "Contact Us" (or similar) link in a footer of a site that loads MORE CONTENT every time you scroll down to the bottom of the page ? Bloody annoying.
