I've always liked:

That's why PHB managers want bums in seats.

And the more the merrier, for their perceived status, too. As a consultant, I've literally come across project managers, at least in India, who measure their "prestige" by the number of devs "under" them.


Oh this what I've been trying to explain my wife for years! And every time she rolls her eyes probably thinking that I'm slacking...
