Don't get me wrong but I don't really understand why for server stuff do you could prefer Ubuntu in favor of a rock-solid operating system like Debian?

One number, Debian Buster for example is LTS until June 2024 + 2 yrs. Just to mention one strength, I don't tell you about the well-known ones such as large community, fully openness, among others.




Ubuntu has pretty good LTS too, actually. And up to 10 years "end of life" support.
