I wonder how long this been in the works, and is this playing catch-up to ClickUp and Notion? I find Trello's UX much more responsive and their apps much more functional. However limiting the new features (timeline view with swim lanes!) to the paid plan might stifle growth.

This is an unbelievably large release, all at once.

And for an existing product and codebase that's been around as long as Trello, this kind of bundled release is quite the feat!

Notion.so is a more comprehensive tool, in my opinion.
