Pipewire has been making great progress lately and is already successfully replacing Pulseaudio on my Buster allowing me to do stuff I could not before (like connecting Jack-only apps with Pulseaudio-only apps).

It's not perfect and still have bugs to iron out. I just can't wait for it to reach 1.0 ! Yet, I also hope that it does not get pushed too soon into distros as default ...
