Nationwide TFS | NYC Area (Permanent US-Based Remote) | Ruby, Rails, Postgres, Heroku, React Nationwide TFS is looking for a Lead Software Engineer. Nationwide TFS services individuals who are in Chapter 13 bankruptcy; we operate a payments platform to help debtors finish their bankruptcy on time, get a discharge, and move on with their lives.
The Lead Software Engineer will own the technical direction of the company. You will work hand-in-hand with the CEO, COO, and CTO to expand our current Rails-based financial services product. In addition, your input will be highly influential in guiding the company’s growth into new areas, including new products.
We have very high standards for code quality, have a healthy respect for work-life balance, and pay competitively (based on experience).
Requirements: 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
Appreciates the benefits of robust testing
Familiarity with SQL / Postgres
Familiarity with React / JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Willingness to mentor others
