I like the visual of a surface area. It adds to how I think about it... The equation for luck similar as luck being the compounding interest component and over time, compounding itself with consistent doing. Compounding applies to many things, but take a business, years in business and word of mouth/experience is a form of compounding customers/revenue. Same for luck and doing something consistently with enthusiasm.
