So automated stuff? Retail has been dying off due to online sales. Delivery services are looking automate with drones. Not to mention that places like Amazon start their own service and pay their drivers less than the major places (worse jobs). Service industry is reeling from the pandemic. Many of those jobs are automatable too.
The general trend has been to eliminate onshore jobs that are low skill and outsource those tasks to lower cost countries. As it has also been towards jobs requiring higher education. So what opportunities are there? After all, we are seeing increased dependence on support programs and wage stagnation.
Worse than that. China is America's number one consumer of automation equipment. They're just a decade or two behind us. Soon their working class will be out of things to do as well.
