JFYI i was wrong. There were no such examples in the README or “marketing material,” there was URLs and metadata in a few unit tests.



Not that big of a difference, since I see unit tests as examples, still sloppy either ways.


It's not "marketing," though, which is a key difference.

Programmers put weird things in unit tests all the time. Maybe the contributor was making a joke.


It doesn't have to be marketing. You're showing by example how your app can be used, and one of your examples is to download copyrighted content.
