There is no time limit in law.

If its a physical good, it is expected that it degrades over time, so you can't take, say, your washing machine back after that period of time and demand your money back.

Further, the law doesn't dictate that updates are required, or anything like that, so if CS3 doesn't work on Windows 10, thats not Adobe's fault. However, if you can show that it no longer works on a system it used to work on, then the product is not fit for purpose.




I should also add, that I don't know how all that bull "you aren't buying a product, you are buying a license" stuff plays into it. It might render what I've just said as wrong the case of software.
