Today 29/09/2020 I noticed that YouTube is showing videos marked as "ad" in yellow on the home page (almost indistinguishable from normal videos) (I don't know if they already existed before).

It seems to me to be a much more effective way of displaying ads compared to their other methods (placing ads in search results, inside videos and next to videos)
