Interesting- on mine, this hose is external. There is a fitting that goes all the way through the wall insulation and hose runs along the back of the fridge.

It's not the same model, but if you check around 2:50 here you can see the setup with the panel off including the little metal tab at the bottom.

Most people seem to use a hair dryer but I just poured hot water in. Probably better to use the hair dryer to avoid overflowing the pan.
