| | I've been working at my current company for a little under a year, and in a few weeks my team is getting a new manager. This is my first job and I've never experienced a manager transition, so I wanted to know if there are any things I should do, not do, or just be aware of. What have some of your experiences with manager transitions been like, and what did you do about the transitions that looking back, made your path better or worse at those companies? |

In one situation, there was a personality issue, and half the team left within three months. Personality issues are hard to correct, I knew the writing was on the wall and should have been more aggressive in switching out.
