Probably 3 chips for different models? I could imagine the iPad Pro chip in the Macbook Air, a mid-range chip and a high performance (the one with 3x performance) for the Macbook Pro.

Could make the Macbook Pro the fastest laptop in some benchmarks while also offering more affordable options.
