50-100% seems a little high. I think Apple has picked the low hanging fruit. This kind of performance increase is only possible in multicore workloads. Single core would be more like 20-30%. But maybe they can increase clock speeds with the new 5nm node.



They’ll be working with a more forgiving thermal envelope than in iOS devices too, though.
