Thank you! As far as I know (it's undocumented) the only source of depth data is very low resolution. The image data (where the color of each point comes from) is much, much higher - shame they're not on par with each other.
I've been very interested in getting access to the depth data for a VR project I'm working on. Is this something you could talk more about, perhaps over email (in my profile)?
