Could this depend on the country? I'm 35 and this isn't my experience at all in the London area. Every week I have to ignore messages or emails from recruiters, even during the last two months.

Sure, most of the jobs advertised are worse than my current position, but I get the feeling that if I looked around a bit, I wouldn't have any problem getting offers.
