Do you think, in the future, programmers will be mathematicians in the same way that the blacksmiths of centuries ago are now chemical and material engineers in steel plants?

Do you think this is the Bronze Age of artisinal craft, poised to be replaced by the dawn of brutally precise mechanized Haskell?

Humans are efficient, blacksmiths actually didn't become chemical and material engineers, my uncle spent his career working at an aluminum plant being useful without being an engineer. Many people will obtain just the necessary amount of knowledge and skill needed to accomplish their goals, which doesn't bode well for precise mechanized Haskell.
